Okay so after getting past those first episodes, this show has ended up being surprisingly enjoyable up to now. I just got to the arc that reads like an antivaxxer message though, so we'll see how it goes.

Oh, when Hana became a rider, though? That was a scream "fuck yeah!" moment for me.

I'm watching Kamen Rider Revice and I'm still in the early episodes but I'm not sure how I feel about the political commentary it's trying to do. Like, it's had one person comment on how society in unequal, stacked in favor of the 1%, and how it's hard to stop being poor; and it's had another call out a ceo whose company turned to using sweatshop labor because of a recession; but unfortunately both of these people were the villains of the week, so it's one of those "they have a point, but they've gone too far" liberal things. And the problems raised aren't meaningfully addressed, because that would require doing anything.

Kamen Rider isn't incapable of tackling heavier subjects, but so far this one stands out as not getting it to me.

Welll, well, well, this is one of the most breathtaking stories i've ever watched. I mean the story never stops, is always advancing from a moment to another and always happens something in some place. The pace never slows and in fact, sometimes is even faster.

Special mention to the mother of the heroes and those three showing up. As this another hero would say: is a festival!
