I've been searching for a while for a sort of "link aggregation / directory / resource" type place for a while since there seems to be a lot out there but not easy to find and remembered about #lemmy, a project I looked at a good while ago. It is similar to Reddit or Hacker News while also taking part in the fediverse.

So while #RevisionParty2023 was going full blast, I was working to get this up and running and the result is the https://demotheque.com

Primarily intended for me to put links to my #DemoArts stuff and other interesting things, but figured that I might as well open it up. Anyone can register an account and if they see the need for it, create a community for their own stuff.

Feel free to play around with it and ping me if something is weird. The "Testing Grounds" is there to experiment in if you feel the need. I've tried to come up with some decent rules, although most of them were "borrowed" from lemmy.ml

PS: If your wondering about the name, I delegated the task of coming up with something good to ChatGPT.

I spent so damn long trying to get my capture setup to stop micro stuttering and giving dupe frames, and captured Mechasm on a 4090 and was finally kinda happy with it. Hard capped it at 30 fps instead of 60 because of all the damn framerate drops.

And then I woke up this morning and re-watched the revision live version, and it runs way better.

Right, they're running a $7000 RTX 6000 GPU. :) Fuck.

Probably going to spend my free time today hacking on kkapture..
