After some counting backwards from the present, it occurred to me that in my lifetime, there’s been a cycle where some new innovation changes everything every 13 years, and we’re just at the start of a new one with AI.

Just for the record, as people either love or hate both parts of the second Matrix movie (Reloaded & Revolutions): I firmly belong into the “love it” group. I think the dividing line has always been how much of an anime fan you were, or how strongly you could relate to anime, when it came out.
