This chapter of #thisbookisgay would have been so helpful for 2007 me to read. I was hyper fixated on #stereotypes and it led to a lot of #internalizedhomophobia because I thought if I could suppress my more feminine side, my parents would come to accept Rich's and my relationship. Never happened.
