I've really been getting into #retrogaming.
So far I've bought an #anbernic #rg353vs, #rg405v, #rg35xx, and a #miyoominiplus. That's in addition to the #New3DSXL, #GameBoyAdvance, and #GameBoyAdvanceSP I already have. What's really bad is I keep looking at the horizontal #handhelds as well.
I think I might have a problem.

Instead of hiding a corner trying all my Gameboy carts I've been downloading firmware and cores and generally mucking about. However my hot-take review after a few hours with it is... It's alright. I think the fact I've had the £50 #RG35XX with #GarlicOS for a few months has taken the shine off it. But perhaps that says more about how good GarlicOS is than anything else.

also wondering if i could plug a controller into the usb c port and have retroarch pick up on it
even though i already have a whole non-handheld setup going, including a crt tv/hdmi > s-video adapter from my desktop pc, it's always fun to tinker with new devices too

Prochaine étape, choper 2 cartes sd, passer sur #garlicOS et trouver pleins d’autres jeux…. Le seul souci, trouver une autre console pour passer des jeux de N64, Ps2 et tout le reste…

My Miyoo Mini+ has been delayed and I can be incredibly impatient when I'm excited about something. So I ordered an Anbernic #RG35XX from Amazon Prime.
I've been learning how to install custom firmware (#GarlicOS was quite easy), source BIOSes and ROMs, and generally get things working well. I figure this knowledge will roughly transfer when setting up my Mini+.
I wasn't crazy about this retro grey color at first, but it's been growing on me now that I can see it in person and touch it.
