RGB modded the CD32 :amigacd32: , no idea if it works because I don't have a MD2 RGB scart cable. Always was a SFC fan, only have a MD1 in the basement somewhere. Used a 9-pin DIN socket upside down, soldered onto the mainboard. Used a fiber glass pen to expose some copper to solder the socket onto it. Used csync from the Sony CXA1145, not composite video. Just have to wait for the MD2 RGB scart cable to arrive now to test.

Opened up my virgin (unmodded) #nec #pcengineduo :pcengine_duo: to check if the #caps are still ok. They looked OK because I was only checking to see if any caps were bulging or leaking (none of the electrolytic caps seemed bad). But upon closer inspection of the smd caps I saw some funky stuff going on at the solder points. So I really should make some time to do a #capreplacement on this Duo. Might as well do a #rgbmod and the #jailbarfix while I am at it. /me adds this to his #todolist.

My old #segagenesis SCART cable I made for myself back in 2018 bite the dust. But I learned a lot. This time I wanted to build a more high quality one. I looked into my collection of monitor cables and found a DVI cable and holy shit it's perfect cause it has good shielding too! I mean look at how perfectly the Red, Green, Blue and Sync are individually shielded! Heck yea this is gonna be a great #rgbmod #retrogaming
