RA can hit you different ways. Most people think of joint pain, and that can be real and debilitating. For me, though (so far), the bigger struggle since getting treatment has been the severe fatigue. It hits randomly and usually takes a day or two for me to realize what's going on. This week is challenging, and I'm trying hard to remember it's a temporary thing (hopefully!) and that I should just rest and not worry overmuch. #RA #rheumatoidarthritis #autoimmune #fatigue

I got this stone paper journal at a yard sale. Sketched a plein air watercolor landscape on the blank, front page. I think I'll use the lined section for daily arthritis tracking and put a sketch on each page. That will get two things done. Tracking and a daily sketch.

I'll post the work here each day.

Won't be super intimate like a therapy journal. Looking forward to this! I'll start later today. Might break out the alcohol inks for a first try.

Update: still having my RA flare, although it seems to be moving around to different parts of my body now rather than Everything Everywhere All At Once (a fantastic movie but I don't want to be living it in my joints), so I'm cautiously optimistic that means maybe I'm on the upswing?
