Just saw The Lost King @ Cinema Nova, Carlton. Given we all know they found him, I love that the focus is on Phillipa Langley’s journey: how she empathized with him through her own experiences with disability and how as a woman/amateur historian with a disability, attempts were made to write her out of her story. The parallels with ableism/those with power telling their own version of the story are salient. Fun & vindicating. @RichardIIISociety #RichardIII #movies #review #histodon
