Dodgy finances, sexual improprieties, questionable electoral practices: they haven't been saints.

First, it was morally wrong.
Second, he was never elected #POTUS.
When he ran as a Presidential candidate, American 🇺🇸 voters chose a peanut farmer from Georgia over someone who was a ‘fixer’ for a crook. 🤷🏻♂️ And it wasn’t even close!

What an odd find today.
This is a pin from Richard Nixon’s 1960 presidential campaign, when he ran with Henry Cabot Lodge Jr.; an election they did NOT win, losing to John F Kennedy by only about 118k votes.
I fancy myself an expert on Watergate; every in & out, nook & cranny. I’ve been obsessed with it, & that asshole Nixon, since the first time I saw All The President’s Men as a kid.
Got lots of odd Nixon records & 45s, too. I should pull them out soon.
