Currently reading graphic novel of #NoSurrender. It’s an adaptation of Constance Maud’s rather dry #Suffragette book originally published in 1911. The #RickardSisters really make it zing and feel relevant. Sharp writing and warm, detailed illustrations breathe new life into an old novel.

I read the graphic novel adaptation of Robert Tressell's The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists by @RickardSisters and loved it. What an introduction to a classic book I can't believe I haven't read before! The illustrations are beautiful and the adapted narrative captures the essence of the story.
