I feel like Rick's legacy is already assured with #DriveLikeJehu and then #HotSnakes, but also more people will discover the short but sweet run he had with #Obits.

RIP Rick Froberg, one of the most powerful & penetrating vocalists I know of. The music of Hot Snakes was a big influence in us forming this band, and they're a continuing source of inspiration to us.

Rick’s voice, alongside those of Ian MacKaye, Guy Picciato & Justin Trosper defined that menacing and confusing “post hardcore” era of the 90s that truly sounded like outer space in a magnetic storm of anxiety.
