Turns of phrase I disagree with include ""It's just like riding a bicycle", which is meant to indicate something that once you learn it, you don't forget how.

This is a lie.

I can confidently state that there is indeed quite a relearning curve when you're trying to ride a bike after not having done so since you were much younger, much less creaky, and much less aware of how breakable you are than you are today.

That being said, this morning's ride was quite nice, once I was able to settle down past the "oh crud this does not feel stable or safe" portion of the initial few minutes.

Agreed 100%. Most new EVs are obscenely huge. There is almost no room for them on streets and parking lots. Large Americans feel the need large vehicles. Not true. People are amazed how much room there is in the passenger seat on my 2011 Mini Cooper. The back seat is another story 😆. But for 99% of the time it is just me or me and my wife in the Mini.

The typical EV is not designed to save the environment, it is designed to save the auto industry
