shake down ride with the SRAM GX Eagle AXS.
The set us currently on sale and FOMO got the better of me.
The GX differs from the X0 only in the material of the cage (steel vs alloy). The upgrade kit comes with a charger, battery, chain gap tool and a multitool and of course the rear mech and shifter.
shifting feels different in that the whole mechanical feedback is missing. Aside from a barely audible motor whine, shifting is unobtrusive and works reliably and accurately.

Since the cranks have a very small gap to the frame and occasionally they touch the chainstay guard, I switched the stock protector to the tape of Velocity Hucking System with a strategic cut out where the crank comes closest to the chainstay.
