@tassiedi @ridewithgps @bicyclenetwork @trailstash RideWithGPS uses OpenStreetMap for their routing, but I just noticed they still show the Google logo on OSM maps and don't have OSM attribution which is against the OSM license - I'll reach out to them about that.

@alan Thanks! I’m on iOS now. What I did that’s working OK is to draw the route and waypoints I wanted in QGIS over the LiDAR and then export as GPX and import into #RideWithGPS which has a offline topo maps. Also, I can sync the GPX to my Garmin watch. I can bring a static screenshot of the LIDAR and manually cross reference with topo map when I need to. So I should be able to end up at all the points on LIDAR that I wanted to get to.

My best idea for the moment is to use #RideWithGPS to plan the route. It has offline topo / hillshade layer that's not as detailed. I can then carry a printed detailed LIDAR map as a cross-reference.

Dieses Jahr werde ich nur der „Pacemaker“ für meinen Schwager sein. Die Insel reizt uns absolut nicht mehr.

Aufgrund eines engen Terminkalenders werden wir versuchen, an einem Tag von Bielefeld nach Cuxhaven zu kommen. Am nächsten Tag wird er sich in die Fähre setzen und ich den Rückweg radelnd antreten.

Today was a crystal clear crisp day for a bicycle ride. The snow covered Cascades and Mount Baker as a backdrop. I did get a flat. It was a club ride. Nothing like having an audience watching me fix the flat (rear wheel off, simple tube exchange).
