When Teri first posted about Weisselberg getting new counsel, I googled to see how long at Rikers—the article said 6 months but probly serve only 100 days with time off for good behavior. If so, he only has about 3 weeks … unless he doesn’t get the reduction. They have him in a medical wing where the put celeb inmates.

There’s not much evidence to support this, and ample evidence that, in effect, cash bail serves to allow poor people to be locked up without trial, simply because they are poor. And Michael Cohen, as a former NYC lawyer, knows all this, and how this shit works and has been on tv rattling the DA’s cage for months, years. This was the first (settled, indicted and co conspirators convicted,) crime Trump committed, and only carries a max sentence of four years, but those years would be in #Rikers, sooooo. And it makes sense to indict Trump for his crimes in the order they were committed. But, again, no way the DA won’t i dict this one regardless. Because #Cohen.
