A morning on the east side of the River Exe, starting in the Maer Valley just outside #Exmouth where there is a small colony of Ring-necked Duck. Then onto Bowling Green Marsh for the high tide. The latter was quiet - both in terms of waders (hardly any) and peace and quiet (lots).

Hier ist wieder ein Turmfalke auf Jagd. Als Dorfkind war ich diverse Naturgeräusche gewöhnt. Vermißte diese in der Stadt sehr. Und habe jetzt Wildleben direkt in der Kleinstadt. Es fehlen nur noch die Bussarde, die lassen sich grad selten blicken.

Hated because on the one hand "they don't belong" and on the other they like to spend the night in great swarms on trees and the shit is hard to clean from the streets... They're originally from India and nobody knows for certain how they came to live here - enough of them must have escaped from captivity to form populations.

Gestern gab es einen Spaziergang im Botanischen Garten. Die Krokusbilder und die von der Winterforsythie sind nichts geworden. ich lief auch die meiste Zeit halb blind durch die Gegend. Gleißendes Sonnenlicht. Aber: Sonne!
