Judy Heumann was the keynote speaker at our Andries Hudde School in 8th grade, which was held in the auditorium at Brooklyn College.

That message she shared with us, for me, was all about never giving up and never allowing people to tell us we can’t do something. Seeing her speak was truly beyond words, and it will forever be ingrained in my memory.
