The great thing about buying e-books directly from small / indie publishers' sites is the fact that your purchase history's intact (mine went all the way back to 2016 in this case), and you can re-download the files in whatever format you like. I was able to easily replace the .mobi files I purchased from Riptide Publishing with the more agnostic e-pub. Score.
