Time to review #RiseAndFall, which was on Channel 4 for most of the past month.

The show didn't work as a microcosm of society, it was a very passable unscripted soap opera. And one with a few moments we could apply elsewhere.

Greg James hosted with aplomb; also loved the discreet nod to the building's history.

I could understand how some on the interwebs slated this show, the first week wasn't yet there. Might be worth a sprint through.

The plate-licking scene on #riseandfall is utter humiliation. Totally gross. #gogglebox

* Bullying is not assertiveness
* Focusing only on money is not providing value

Matt was the only real leader on #riseandfall

#RiseAndFall recap: so after the prize pot dropped to 35k, Connor declared that he was out and quit. Which given how he was jawing on about being the next to go, probably should have just voted for Sydney, instead of holding out for bigot sophie.

This meant, Sydney got to be a ruler, but she said it was bitter sweet, due to the 14k loss. sophie, went back down, and span it that she was wanted for her leadership skills, and Sydney because of her relationship with Jack and Rossi

Two new ppl came into the basement, Joan and Sam, the grafters then did a work shift removing pests from a house, managing snails for £1000, Jack then pushed for the cockroaches and £5,000, which they failed as the amount to remove was much more than the snails.

The rulers gave curry to everyone except Matt and the two new ppl, which upset Joas, but I mean, they just arrived, the others have been there much longer

So Jack voted for Cheryl, over Connor, which is bold, given how the plan was Conor out for changing his mind to keep Matt, as that looks weak as.

The grafters then had in two teams to fill and sauce 180 and 450 profiteroles, which they managed (they also brought a pile from the work space to share)

The grafters then voted, Moses and Rossi went upstairs, they kept Rossi, then a cliffhanger ending where Rossi could have Moses stay but send a ruler down.

#RiseAndFall recap: after being ousted, at the start Ramona is back much to the disappointment of Rachel. Joanne, has a trapped nerve so is out of doing tasks, she also left the game, due to medical advice.

The grafters tasks were to use a treadmill in a sauna, for half the group, and sit in ice cold baths for the other half, Rossi and Ramona ended up being eliminated, due to not keeping up with the speed of the treadmill.

#RiseAndFall recap: Connor changed their decision and voted to oust Marina as a ruler, which after James had also voted, and that they all had their plan, probably hurt a lot, she started to cry, understandable really.

Someone used the bowl where they mix the bread dough, in the shower, they thought it was someone washing their balls, a bit manky tbh.

After the red room vote, the grafters suggested Conor changing his vote from Matt to Marina, made him indecisive, so probably early one to oust

#riseandfall just watched episode 1. As a contestant told that there was a luxury apartment or ‘the grafters’ downstairs my response would be to walk up and punch the presenter in the face before announcing “I’m the Presenter now” #ukpolitics

It's a split between Cheryl and Prince, Marina gets to choose who leaves, but given she voted for Prince, it'll probably be him. #RiseAndFall

Oh, the grafters seem to be turning off Marina, like she's become a ruler, over using her position among rulers to undermine the system for the grafters #RiseAndFall

The rulers are fighting amongst themselves #RiseAndFall

So Marina was saying they should have had 5 plates the other day #RiseAndFall

Oh now Rashika who is colluding with Rachel and Prince to oust Cheryl is suggesting she doesn't have a game plan #RiseAndFall

Now Marina is lying about the experiences of the group #RiseAndFall

Oh Marina, who basically said they would try to raise up other grafters to oust the original rulers is now suggesting the hungry grafters would have been happy with fewer plates of better food, when they got the better food the other day, she's definitely going to fuck them over, another true boss #RiseAndFall

Cheryl suggested Marina, who didn't eat pet food, also earned the money the grafters earned from eating pet food, typical boss mentality #RiseAndFall
