#RPGaDay Day 12. Old game you STILL play.
The oldest #RPG we play (we have some older #BoardGames that still get played occasionally) is #RisusRPG.

Apparently it was first published in 1993, although I didn't discover it until about the mid 2010s.

@LeviKornelsen I'm interested in #GM advice (I listen to the #PandasTalkingGames and #HappyJacks podcasts, but would be happy to talk here too).

I'm running and playing #7thSea, and have recently run #StarTrekAdventures and #RisusRPG.

I'd like to run or play #CoyoteAndCrow.

Discussion of any of the above is very welcome.

I've created a one-shot #RisusRPG adventure for a spice-themed game jam. Being a big #Dune fan, I wrote a Dune-themed #SHGGFTAWSGDSSFDF delivery.

I ran a simple one-shot #StarTrekAdventures #TTRPG for @JetlagJen and three friends last night. Jen was the only one with much experience of RPGs, but everyone got into it and it was a lot of fun.

As one player said, "I haven't belly-laughed like that in years!" 🙂

We've already arranged a date for the next game, but haven't decided on what we'll be playing. #RisusRPG or #7thSea are likely.

@mdhughes I ran a game for my wife and three friends last night. One friend had never played an RPG, the other two had bought the D&D starter set and played it with their kids.

#StarTrekAdventures probably doesn't count as indie, but we only used the core book. They had a great time, and afterwards we made plans to play again. They were very open to playing *anything*. The next game will be #RisusRPG, and we're intending to start a #CoyoteAndCrow campaign later on.

My latest book is now on general release. It's a #TTRPG campaign for #RisusRPG, set in a #steampunk version of 1870.
