My wife will live. She sent the Rx to Safeway the next morning and a friend stepped up to retrieve it while I was working. That was her day 4.
Her coughing subsided a bit but she's had a rough go. This could have been much worse.
I want to write a letter - but to whom - Washington Department of Health?
And will they just go after the pharmacist instead of the actual problem - #riteaid starving the store of resources?

Have you noticed a difference in your local #bartelldrugs since #riteaid Aid purchased the chain?
Our local BD, Roosevelt Square, went from being served by the same helpful friendly #pharmacy staff for years to, almost overnight, what seems to be a perpetually under-staffed disaster with constant churn in just a few months.
We finally gave up and switched to #safeway .
I'm sad about that.

Ever since tit was bought by RiteAid the Pharmacy at Bartells had been chronically understaffed with long lines at all hours of the day. I'm over it.

Today's experience at #BartellDrugs reminded me once again that corporate consolidation is awful and should be opposed at every turn. What was once a great #PNW pharmacy has become uniformly awful after it was absorbed by #RiteAid.
