Two reasons why I heart #RSS feeds in #Mastodon:

1. 'Move' heavy tooters sharing political content to my #NetNewsWire not to overwhelm the remaining timeline(s) and dive into them at my pace, usually outside 'work hours'

2. Subscribe to the RSS feed of new prolific followers, as they continue tooting along for a number of days/weeks, to decide if I'd want to follow back based on what they share

Gotta tame the #RiverOfNews to keep one's timeline sane, don't you think? 😅👍🏻

Oh, dear, after resuming my tooting mojo a couple of days back, I have just realised I forgot to dive into my Mentions from over a month ago and now not too sure what to do with them. 🤔

Let them go, as the conversations stopped and people moved on, or go back and resuscitate them?

I guess I'll let them pass by and see if the topics will resurface again then.

Whoaaah! That was quite an intense catch-up! 🤯

It reminded me of the early golden days of #SocialTools, when one would sit back, watch and observe, read and learn carefully, then try to jump back in to the #RiverOfNews and share across some of the best tidbits.

Gosh, I didn't realise how much I have missed those days till today and somehow it feels like someone stripped off me 15+ years of my life! 😁😎👍🏻
