My #RiverStride today, under blue skies and finally in the glow of raking light as the sun went down, took me along The Beck, a mercurial little river that flows some 10 miles eastwards to join the #RiverTrent, downstream of #Newark-on-Trent #Nottinghamshire. #RiverWalks #Landscape

First visit to The Crossing Place in Albury Wodonga since the water went down & the clean up finished & it’s still as beautiful as ever. More trees are down & you can see just how high the water got to. The third photo is of a spot called Smugglers Corner & if you look carefully you can see the remains of the old wooden bridge. #riverwalks #gumtrees #australia
