I haven't read much fantasy since Ursula K. Le Guin's Earthsea Cycle blew everything out of the water (for me), so I am yet to pick up anything from Richard Morgan's "A Land Fit For Heroes" series.

I read that the hero is homosexual, so that's an interesting take.

Which Richard K. Morgan books? The cyberpunk stuff, or the fantasy stuff?

The cyberpunk stuff, and especially "Black Man" aka "Thirteen" (2007), were enjoyable for me.

In 2007, who would've imagined the States dividing into a conservative midwest/south bookended by a liberal federation of the coastal states? 2020 *nods*
