Not a huge fan of comments in the lines of ‘people don’t dance can leave’ but other then that Boy Harsher may have been the best set Ive seen today at Roadburn.

Odd perhaps to say about a dance act at a mostly metal & rock festival. But I also like this style of dance music… and no sorry Boy Harsher, I don’t dance.

Oiseaux-Tempête deden een nummer over de start van een revolutie (de geprojecteerde beelden waren van d Arabische Lente).

Het begint met een beschrijving hoe een man met honger door de stad loopt.

Drie dagen en drie nachten had ie al niets gegeten. Wat moest ie nu toch? Die drie dagen herhalen kon wel, maar dat blijft niet goed gaan natuurlijk.

Hij loopt door een winkelstraat en ziet zijn hoofd weerspiegeld in een winkelruit. Hij wilde dat zijn hoofd een ander hoofd was. Een kalfshoofd bijvoorbeeld of wat dan ook als ie het maar kon eten.

Door de volgende ruit ziet hij sardientjes liggen.

It means that the project involving #JulieChristmas and #LauraPleasants is not dead as I feared for a long time (for those in the back who were asleep, they were supposed to collaborate for #Roadburn2020 which was cancelled due to you-know-what and there was no news ever since, I started to be desperate) in the end they'll do something (with Persson but not Pleasants in person?) for #Roadburn2023

Life has been kind of unpleasant and sad for some weeks now.

Doing my Roadburn Due Diligence listening to artists I am not familiar with.

Maud the Moth is an amazing discovery! This is going to be an artists who will go on regular repeat for a long time. And yeah she is programmed at the same time as Wolves in the Throneroom who I also love. But seen Wolves multiple times. So Maud will be my choice.
