This traffic cone was spotted somewhere in Dubai. I was heavily traumatised with some 99 more lanes, but sun lit streets and bright road markings healed me a bit

I'm mesmerised by roadworks and road signs. I've just realised they are probably the only things which I don't analyse and purely enjoy without any second thoughts.

Just got this pamphlet of a renovation on our side street that is in absolute shambles rn.
Two problems: Why not add another sidewalk on the other side? I see people walking on the other side all the time eventhough a sidewalk is available. We couldโve reduced this to one lane and added a dedicated bike lane.

The ReImagine Washtenaw Project with #Washtenaw County & MDOT, is doing a major study about what it would take to turn this stretch of Washtenaw Ave into what's being called a "multimodal corridor" to make the road a lot more accessible to pedestrians on foot, bus riders, as well as bicyclists.

173 followers · 212 posts · Server toot.hausIt's a tough realization that one of my favorite podcasts ever (if not the most favorite), #RoadWork, appears to be going away. No new release for over half a year and signals indicate that there are some irreconcilable differences standing in the way.
I know, it's "just a show" and I shouldn't care, but it was one of the few where I could really connect with what was said, and it had a profound impact on how I see myself, and deal with my mental health.
