While not a Skargill moment by any means, I'm currently reminded of my feelings about the 84 UK miners' strike. I fully and unequivocally supported the National #Union of Mineworkers, while simultaneously being completely opposed to mining & mining companies. Not comparing #Bandcamp to mining of course, just highlighting the cognitive dissonance involved in supporting grassroots workers while opposing those for whom they work. This collection features 19 tracks from those four albums remixed by a wide range of artists..." #ExposeOnline #SpaceRock #review http://expose.org/index.php/articles/display/robert-calvert-the-last-star-fighter-2.html

And then after leaving that band again, #RobertCalvert did a concept album about the Miner's Strike.
"Forever yrs: a rose called peace."
