While not a Skargill moment by any means, I'm currently reminded of my feelings about the 84 UK miners' strike. I fully and unequivocally supported the National of Mineworkers, while simultaneously being completely opposed to mining & mining companies. Not comparing to mining of course, just highlighting the cognitive dissonance involved in supporting grassroots workers while opposing those for whom they work. (Also: see the excellent album FREQ).
