One of #Mexico's most renowned #film, #stage, and #TV #actors, López Tarso was seen in about 50 #Movies.
He won the #BestActor #Ariel (the #Mexican #Oscar) for ROSA BLANCA (1961, released in 1972) + a Lifetime Achievement Ariel in 2007.
Internationally, his best known #movie is probably #RobertoGavaldón's #Macario (1960), which was shortlisted for the Best Foreign Language Film #AcademyAward.
