Just moved into a big carpeted house with a husband who has bad allergies. Researching #robotvacuums & learned there are private fb groups that post robot vacuum pictures of womem & children. Even when companies say your data is safe, it’s not safe. Having an AI robot taking photos of your house is probably not a good idea.

We don’t know what these companies will do with our data. Roombas are now connected to Amazon and Alexa. #bezos already shares nest privacy system data with local police departments, who spy on people. Some years ago I read articles about how the robot vacuum data was being shared with the CIA. Those articles have been wiped. FWIW, I am not a conspiracy theorist.

So we’re looking at European robot vacuums. At least then they will have EU standards. I do not trust capitalism. But I trust the #EU.

I found this in my robot's room this morning. If you don't talk to your vacuum cleaner about drugs, someone else will.

I think I'm going to start a thing where whenever something shitty and depressing/disturbing happens over at bird site, I'll post another pic of my dog.

Here's one where she's about to be rudely woken up by a robot vacuum.

She got revenge by taking that thing out in the most foul of ways. (Robot vacuums and non-housebroken puppies do not make a good pair.)
