Nieuw-Zeelandse indierockband opgericht in 2006 te Christchurch door de 14 jarige meisjes Emla, Lisa and Rosie als #Startlett.
Ze winnen de #rockquest competitie in 2007 en dat maakt dat ze een platencontract krijgen bij Sony en hen twee hits oplevert in eigen land.
In 2008 veranderen ze hun naam in Ivy Lies en voegt Mihka zich bij de band, in 2009 trekken ze naar LA om hun debuut op te nemen met #CliffMagness.
De band is nog steeds actief.
