So I have this OLD (new to me) rock tumbler (Lortone 3A) and I cannot get the lid to seal.

Can't tell if the canister is old n jenky or maybe it's the lid...anyone have experience with this? Know how to fix?

Meanwhile a year later my CE has been running fine, just had to replace the barrels due to friction wearing holes in them. Meanwhile the Lortone despite everything looking normal, belt good and tight, keeps stopping every couple of hours and needs to be restarted by hand.
