While it surely provides more compatibility when it comes to the games, overall I think all the Feature Update changes and other Windows related issues will cause so much hassle with these systems, that they will become unbearable to use (not to mention the Bing/Edge bloatware).
I will wait and see what Valve comes up on the next gen #SteamDeck, but I like where this technology is heading.

The #Lenovo #LegionGo looks interesting but details are still sparse. It has a larger 8" screen (vs the #SteamDeck's 7") with detachable remotes. And runs #Windows11 like the #Asus #ROGAlly
My main priority in a handheld gaming device is battery life. My Steam Deck has power that I don't use because I want at least 2 hours of gameplay per charge. And the Ally's small 40Wh battery was the ONLY reason I didn't buy it even though it was so much more powerful.

I did set it up with a shared btrfs partition for the games so I can boot into #chimeraos for testing. That's still broken for resume (lose half the face buttons) and has no gyro or fingerprint support.
I don't miss the track pads on my #steamdeck at all, and a variable refresh rate screen is a must have!
