Wisst ihr sicher alle, aber ich erst seit Kurzem: Das Original Tycoon kann man auch auf dem iPad und arm Macs spielen.

Diese alten Spiele sind um Längen besser als das meiste, was jetzt so herauskommt, gerade auf dem iPad (z.B. das furchtbare RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch aus dem gleichen Hause). Da stimmt mir sogar K1 zu!

(Railroad Tycoon habe ich auch schon gesehen, aber bisher nicht getestet)

Weil das Wetter morgen etwas durchwachsen sein soll, haben Gesina und ich den Besuch in Tivoli Gardens Kopenhagen einen Tag nach vorne verlegt. Tivoli ist ein Innenstadt-Park, liegt zwischen Schloss und Hauptbahnhof, und feiert diese Jahr 180-jähriges bestehen. Mit Rutschebanen von 1914 steht hier die älteste in Betrieb befindliche Achterbahn Europas (Weltweit: Platz 3).

I just had an idea. I was watching the recently posted POV of Rebalder from (youtu.be/n33DTpNioG8)

Like many family coasters elsewhere, Liseburg sends riders on two laps of the course.

What if someone designed a family coaster that had a switch track at the top of the lift and sent the second run through a Verbolten-like indoor run? That'd be way cool.

According to multiple trusted sources, 's 2024 plans include an extensive renovation of the park's iconic, 1978 Arrow looper, ! Per rumors we've heard, expect significant Loch Ness Monster track replacement & other attraction upgrades to debut during 2024.

In our opinion, BGW deserves a ton of praise for undertaking this complex & costly project. Thrilled to see them investing so heavily in preserving this irreplaceable, historic gem of a !

I'm the most afraid at the point where a roller coaster crests the top before plugging.

This would freak me out: People were stuck at very top of the first roller coaster drop at Cedar Point!

I don't use Reddit much anymore but I do lurk to watch the hilarity of certain things.... This comment nails today's announcements.

took an amazing ride, made it worse (but still probably decent) and then completely destroyed everything by maybe the worst name in history, Top Thrill 2

On the other hand likely crushed a major coaster park with a family coaster announcement.

I, for one, welcome our new independent park overlords.

Zamperla leaked information on the revised Top Thrill Dragster. Now removed from their web site, it's still available in Google cache.

The revised TTD will apparently be a triple-launched LSM coaster, with forwards/backwards/forwards launch speeds of 74/101/120mph.

Assuming Zamerla pull this off, that's a significant drop in launch power, and cements this as "meh" for me, rather than bucket list. Such a shame.
