Estoy retomando el patinaje (que llevo sin poder subirme a unos patines desde 2009), pero empezando directamente con los patines en línea en lugar de mis quads artísticos.

Y de momento, vamos avanzando a, lo que yo considero pasos de gigante. Tan es así, que a partir de la semana que viene empezaré a salir a la calle con ellos.

Os recomiendo que no os pongais en mi camino. No he perfeccionado los frenos todavía.

Unsolicited #RollerSkate advice I'm not going to heap upon unsuspecting skaters here, so you get to read them.

1. Bend your knees. Bend your knees. Bend your knees!

2. Watch where you're going, not your feet. Head up, chest up, knees bent!

3. Start with simple bubble/watermelon moves where you don't have to lift your feet until you feel more comfortable.

I’m a #trans mom working in #tech since I was 17 and do a whole lot of #rollerskate #dance in my spare time and love teaching it. If you’re in #Europe and go to the jams we may have met as I try to hit all the big ones.
I’ve worked on #AWS for so long it is my specialty and every new service just looks like several other services bundled together and it's rare I meet anyone using it well.
Also I’m so sick of working in tech and look forward to escaping into the forest.

Can’t help but laugh at the fact that 20 years ago I was certain you needed a complicated training program including tracking your calories and nutrition to build muscle and get fit. Turns out all I needed was #RollerSkate dance and to sign up for a #PoleDancing class.

My diet is essectively making sure I eat actual meals everyday and don’t go hungry.

I would 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏 to #rollerskate just to wear these!

In other news, this morning I realised I need new wrist guards. This is the moment in which it happened. Worth it.

I loved rollerblading as a kid, and skateboarding. These things are not mutually exclusive. And both are hella punk and hella hip hop. Quad skates are too.
