I got another #GoodWebsite idea. so if you can both read and control a pop-up's position, then it can be a handle - constrained by the thing it is connected to, where you are only allowed to drag it in particular paths. since you can share state between windows on the same domain through localStorage, the windows can be like a little machine that acts out a shared model.

The Mastodon #rolodex in question on the bottom; the top is the ham radio one. That top one is now too small for all the cards I have in it, and I need to migrate it to a bigger one.

I miss the old downtown Kiwanis sale, that was a great place to score retro finds of all kinds including these two.

When my son asks me (following up on #WeirdAl's hit, "One More Minute") "what was a #rolodex?" I try to explain, but it hits me... there is no way I can do this without sounding like my father telling me about the #milkman or about working for 1/2 cent per pin resetting bowling pins by hand, as if I am explaining how to use an #astrolabe or explaining the alleged merits of leech-driven #bloodletting. (side note, I wonder how many one-use hashtags I got in this post).
