#RomanticKiller starts out as a comedy which skewers romcom #anime tropes in silly and wildly amusing ways but then shoves you into the deep end and things get Very Serious and Dark indeed.

I got so invested in these characters that I needed to see them triumph over their adversities.

Also the correct answer to "Who should Anzu choose?" is "all of them" *nods sagely*

O anime de namorinho meteu um caso de assédio, aliás dois, para dar uma apimentada no enredo. Ambos os casos são explorados de maneira muito bem desenvolvida e um deles é de assédio a um homem.

Esse anime está entregando mais do que o esperado.

Comecei outro anime de namorinho, romantic killer. Eu ri com uma cena, o que já é mais do que posso dizer sobre praticamente tudo do Japão que tenta ser engraçado.

Até agora, tá valendo a pena. A dublagem da protagonista é um show a parte.

I feel like this one has been a little bit buried in fan discussions because it lives on Netflix, & while the show looks fun from its trailer, it doesn’t look like it brings much new to the RomCom genre.

However it does, in my opinion, by simply doing things better than other shows in its genre. But what do I mean by that?

I cannot. I cannot communicate just how good #RomanticKiller is.

Beautiful art. Great voice acting. Funny as hell. Every single character except the antagonists are ridiculously likable. EXTREMELY healthy conversations about consent, entitlement, and boundaries. Starting episode 10 it gets Really Heavy Really Fast and by ep 11 it straight up becomes Higurashi. Why is my romcom a psychosexual horror thriller? I'm astounded. Hello?
