In 2019, #RonaldGreene was brutally beaten by officers of the #LouisianaStatePolice after a vehicular pursuit, later dying of injuries he sustained. LSP didn’t really acknowledge the incident until the #AP released leaked footage, which started a process that saw multiple officers charged in December 2022. It took over 1,300 days for 5 police officers in #Louisiana to finally be indicted for their role in the execution of #RonaldGreene. Kory York was charged with negligent homicide and 10 counts of malfeasance, while 3 troopers and a sheriff's deputy were given much lesser charges.
