Day 5 of the #CanadaTrip saw us travelling to Long Point with a stop at Rondeau Provincial Park to break the journey. Amazingly, the Screech Owl had set up in the middle of a camp ground! It would have been good to have spent more time at #Rondeau but needs must.

Jean Rondeau és una de les sensacions dels últims anys. Clavicinista francès un pèl volat, em recorda en certa manera a Christophe Rousset quan va començar. Aquest disc està dedicat a Bach i als seus fills i és una bona mostra de l'excitació que cal per tocar el clave. El més curiós és que per molt bons que siguin els fills de Bach, que ho són molt, qualsevol música al costat de la del seu pare sembla escrita per un nen de 4 anys...

Le manuscrit "autographe" de Charles d'Orléans, un manuscrit où le poète a copié et fait copié ses poèmes...

Je l'avais étudié avec des étudiants il y a quelques années, et c'est un objet passionnant. Les différentes phases de rédaction peuvent être bien identifiées, certains passages inachevés, d'autres montrant retravail de l'auteur sur ces textes...
