@feditips @captainb As well as the #Hashtags transferability problem [a real PITA^42, btw], another real bummer wrt changing #Instances is that the #Bookmark #Export / #Import process goes very badly. Each time i've done it, *many* BMs never came across at all. Of those that survived, they're essentially useless, because their chronological sequence is ruined. Given no manual searching possible, one essentially cannot find what one is looking for therein, without a 100% manual read thru ALL of them.

Not gonna lie, I'm finding having to come up with #tags with every toot tiring... What if I pick a word but a synonym is more popular, what about plurals, and just how many tags should one use etc.

Why should it be MY job. Get an algorithm to do it!

I am 100% behind the railroad workers in their quest for sick time. It is ridiculous that the workers can't take time off when they are ill.

That said- I wonder how many US workers actually get paid sick time. I thought it was basically eliminated for non-government workers in favor of Paid Time Off/PTO (or for bigger corporations, Flexible Time Off/FTO).

I am fortunate to have FTO, which I love because it covers time needed off for illness/health care.

What I loved the most about #Twitter was that I could read posts and responses from groups, circle, geographical regions and spaces I don’t normal go to or have access to. I’m finding it harder to do that here. It feels more separated, more protected. #twittermigration #mastodon #roomforimprovement
