I am using do I may use the citation quality of evidence a source listing. I jnow some people spend time building thousands of people in their tree but I am more focused on building sources of data relating to their lives; who were there, where they lived, what they did for a living

@sheribush @david @genealogy IMHO Family Historian has always been way ahead of Rootsmagic (7 or 8) and I have tried both. FH7 holds its data in Gedcom format too so your data is not locked away in some proprietary database. Product support from the manufacturers is excellent but the user group FHUG fhug.org.uk/ is a real bonus.
