When I was at #RootsTech in 2018, this was the view as we switched meeting rooms for new sessions. This year #NotAtRootsTech in person but participating from home!

I admit to trying #WikiTree when it first appeared, but it did not require sources and did not support my Mom's complex adoptive and bio family. I walked away and have not looked at how it has matured. I keep my large database on my computer and sync small portions to some sites.

I rarely look at the #FamilySearch tree because of the many errors and the hassle to correct it. Relatives at #RootsTech suckers me into trying! I fix a little bit each year.

@geneapleau Catch up on lots of great #RootsTech sessions when you're back home, enjoy your time away even in the rain (rain expected here too). Randy Seaver is highlighting some good sessions on his daily blog. Lisa Louise Cooke's sessions were excellent.

Just watched Do Genealogy Step-by-Step on the main stage at #RootsTech

What a fun session! I can see how this concept for a structured process can be useful for even those of us with the experience to have a 20-year brick wall.
