I got it in my head I wanted a record player. Nothing fancy. And that I might start buying records again. All this based on the theory that a record player might be what I need to listen to music at home. (I really only listen to music in my car or on public transport these days.) So New Girl and I ducked out to JB Hi-Fi to see what they had but it all ended up being too much faff so we went to Spotlight and bought heavily discounted Christmas ribbon instead. #RôqNRollLÿfestyle

I’ve closed the living room doors because the temp is due to PLUMMET to 15°C. 15 degrees! It’s a summer travesty! I’ve queued the first episode of Shetland, season 4. I’m settling in with hours of backstitching. #rôqnrolllÿfestyle
