Is is red? Orange? Is rorange a word? Polydor’s simple label has always looked to me like the 70s interpretation of orange. A shade meant to compliment brown. I wish I had a copy of Polydor’s cool double-horn label from the 20s when they were part of German Polyphon-Musikwerke. Or were they part of Deutsche Grammophon. Polydor has been someone’s subsidiary. Today, a subsidiary of Universal, you really only see the label in reissues. #polydorrecords #rorange #vinylcollection
