My theater showing literally erupted in cheers during this one. Easily the best live action Transformers film. Fresh, funny and fast-paced; the film has heart. The characters feel lived-in, even the robots. The voice-acting is top notch. Ron Perlman lent gravitas to Optimus Primal. This is a sharply written movie. Go see this movie.

@trixter I have hope that #Transformers #EarthSpark will have better distribution on the #Nickelodeon cable channel once the toys hit wide distribution and the rest of Season 1 is released. Right now there are only thirteen episodes and a handful of figures in some US states; it wouldn’t make sense to crank up the marketing engine just yet.

There also may be considerations around the upcoming #ROTB movie, and trying not to confuse both toylines in kids’ minds. I dunno, I’m not a marketing exec

Since we just recorded this week's episodes of Transmissions, I wanted to comment on the #RotB figures.

They both look really solid, and appear to have creative transformations. Not the most vibrant colour palates, but that can be fixed with repaints. Great face sculpts too!
