It was a fine morning, so #TodaysWalk took me towards #Rotherhithe, partly along the path of the Surrey Canal, which is now a path, towards the Surrey Quays, which now form the foundations of a Tesco. As might we all, if popular legend holds true.

It was a fine day for swimming, but as it wasn't permitted, and I don't swim, I looked for Purposeless Boulders instead, and wondered if they're really purposeless or serve as a subtle markers of the boundaries of gentrification.

It's a thought.

We have however come up with a provisional plan for our #NonLeague #Football schedule for February and early March, which will include our long-considered but never-achieved double-header combining the #Brunel Museum with a trip to #Fisher FC. @norfolknomad many aspects r very different. The #Thames here is less than 1/2 the width, the new #bridge is largely founded on the structure of the existing rail bridge & it doesn't have to accomodate tall #ships passing, so relatively it is extremely economic.
The #Rotherhithe Bridge appeared to be a superb clever design. But both bridges would be better if we r to encourage light traffic, instead we have just had the announcement of new road investment. #ClimateCrisis
