@alex_roddie I am offended by the aesthetics of #bikepacking, I prefer mudguards, Carridice saddle bags and panniers! 🙂 I am an admirer of the early #RoughStuffFellowship, and before that the between the wars off road cyclists, I get sense of simplicity from their adventures that I miss nowadays; there is a wealth of experience there that seems to have been lost somehow. If you haven’t seen the RSF photo books, I can heartily recommend them, the quality of the photography is outstanding.
