@0mega das haben sie vor kurzem geschrieben: Vor einigen Monaten gab es eine Anpassung der Sicherheitseinstellungen für die 1&1 E-Mail Server. Seitdem muss der E-Mail Client bzw. das genutzte Endgerät TLS 1.2 bzw. TLS 1.2 kompatibel sein.
Wie man das bei #roundcube anpasst konnten sie mir auch nicht sagen. Irgendwo habe ich gelesen man könne es über #postfix machen, aber auch hier weiss ich nicht wie ich es ans laufen bekomme...

@escap das reicht glaube ich nicht. Ich nutze #roundcube für mein 1und1-mailkonto. Seit 1und1 etwas am Mailkonto geändert hat, kann ich meine Mails nicht mehr abrufen 😭

J'avais configuré roudcube pour authentifier un utilisateur en indiquant user et password dans le fichier config.
Tous fonctionnait pour l'utilisateur définit auparavent tant pis pour les autres. 😅

J'ai essayé Rainloop impossible aux utilisateurs de se connecter.

Shout out to @jtx - I've added this tasks / note taking app for #Android through @davx5app (because opentasks is no longer in development) and I'm very impressed. Not only is the app interface simultaneously both clean and powerful (aka feature rich), I've also learned through jtx that the open iCalendar standard supports personal and shared (eg. meeting) notes - great for #Productivity. Sadly vjournal doesn't seem to work with the #roundcube webmail service from @vivaldibrowser that I use. :-/

I've had my own email at a domain for many years, and I've tried using GUI webmail interfaces a few times. However, they've always been much slower to load messages than ssh->mutt.

I've tried #Roundcube, #Horde, and (currently) #SnappyMail (which is built off of #Rainloop), and they all perform about the same.

What am I missing here?

Eu gostava mais da interface do #SnappyMail do que do #RoundCube no #SAAS do #Disroot. Mas, ok! :kirby_walk:

et/ou depuis #thunderbird (la version qui arrive est de toute beauté !) sur votre ordinateur,

et/ou depuis une application libre telle que #k9mail

(sans oublier nos systèmes libres sur les serveurs pour faire tourner tout ça...)

Für Texte teilweise auch #SoftMaker Office, weil es da einen Duden-Korrektor gibt - allerdings kostenpflichtig.

Die Daten liegen alle auf meinem eigenen Server. Da habe ich auch einen Mail-Server eingerichtet und bin auch damit unabhängig.

Der technische Aufwand ist höher, dafür spare ich viel Geld und bestimme selbst über meine Daten.

#Roundcube (Webmail) mag mich mal wieder nicht. Es ließ sich zwar installieren, und ich kann auch meine Mails lesen - nur versenden kann ich keine Mails. Angeblich scheitert die Authentifizierung am Mail-Server. Ich hatte das schon einmal – und konnte das Problem nicht lösen.

Plan für heute: Mail-Server (#Postfix/#Dovecot) und Webmail (#Roundcube) installieren und einrichten. Bisher nutze ich den Mail-Server meines Providers, aber ich würde das gerne auf den Server umziehen und selbst verwalten.
