Just found one of the first(ish) @mikrotik #routerboard I played with - a RB450 from circa 2008. Upgraded it to the latest #RouterOS (7.10 released yesterday) and it just works. Perfect for a quick test I have to run. Nice to see support for old hardware.

One of the things I love about #MikroTik devices is their longevity.
While looking for a simple VLAN capable switch in the office, I stumbled across a 10yo+ #RouterBoard RB750 powered by an Atheros AR7240 CPU, 32MB of RAM, and with 5x100MBit Ethernet ports.
It didn't meet my reqs, but I was still curious enough to take a look and successfully upgraded it from RouterOS v4.9 from 2010 to the latest v7.6 within minutes.
You can only dream of that with other professional networking devices 😀
