Loved Lamya H’s _Hijab Butch Blues_, which among other things provided feminist interpretations of Islamic stories from the Quran (many familiar from my own Jewish upbringing). Can’t do justice to everything from it I’m still chewing on, & plan to catch up on whatall #RoxanneGay has to add, but it’s the first memoir I’ve felt truly lifted by since the sublime _Easy Beayuty_.
