His name was Caretaker. A golem (warforged). He was repurposed to be the gardener and groundskeeper at an orphanage. He liked to see young living things grow to maturity and be healthy.
Over several generations this gave him the necessary insight to gradually become a Druid.
When the orphanage was damaged by a fire, he went adventuring to fund repairs.

Since she was raised by her grandma she behaves like one, even if she never had any children and is only like, 42. You'll always see her with a big grin and her eyes wide open, staring at you ike she's trying to read your mind.
